Stardust Med uses the principle of Selective Accumulative Photothermolysis, thanks to which the energy of the laser beam selectively hits only the target tissue part, due to the different absorption of light at different wavelengths, respecting the Thermal Relaxation Time (TRT) of the skin.
The Thermal Relaxation Time of the skin represents the time it takes for the tissue hit by the light source to disperse 50% of the heat through diffusion.
Selectively hitting the target, only the most advanced equipment is able to propagate the right amount of energy, for an adequate duration of time. In this way the laser beam is absorbed exclusively by the hair bulb and by continuing to accumulate heat it is damaged, compromising the enzymatic exchange with the germinal papilla and therefore the life cycle of the hair.
